Roasted Garnet Yams

Here's a simple and delicious side to your evening meal.  

Roasted Garnet Yams

3 garnet yams - sliced as you see here
1 tablespoon butter
1 tsp cinnamon

Tahini Dressing

3 tbs tahini
juice of one lemon
2 tbs water
1 tbs toasted sesame oil
1 tbs tamari
1 tbs grated fresh ginger

Wash and slice your garnet yams.  Melt the butter, adding in the cinnamon.  Drizzle on top of sliced yams.  Bake at 375 for 50 minutes. 

Now let's make your Tahini Dressing - Place all ingredients in a blender and puree.  

Once yams are baked, pull out of oven and top with the Tahini Dressing.   ENJOY!!  So yummy.
