IMMUNE BOOSTING BROTH
3 inches of ginger root - coarsely chopped
10 cloves of garlic - whole
1.5 inches of turmeric root - coarsely chopped
4 stalks of celery - coarsely chopped
1 yellow onion - quartered
3 lemons juiced- include one full lemon rind in the pot
Place all ingredients in your favorite soup pot. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, simmer for a minimum of 1 hour - I like to simmer it for a few. Adding in more water as it evaporates. The longer it simmers, the more potent it becomes and it will deliver all the goodness of the ingredients to your system. Strain - throw the cooked down ingredients into your garden, food for the garden! Jar the gold - sip it like a tea. Food is medicine.
