1 lb fresh cherries - pitted 1 cup of milk 4 eggs 1/2 cup flour 1 tsp almond extract 1 tsp cardamon juice of 1/2 lemon
Preheat oven to 325. In a bowl - mix together milk, eggs. almond extract, cardamon. Fold in flour. Pour all into a cast 10-13 inch cast iron skillet. Drop in the pitted cherries. Bake for 40 minutes. Remove from heat and squeeze the lemon on top.
Let cool and serve - it depends on what size pieces you decide to cut as to how many people it will serve... 😉
