10 oz pureed beet - steam and puree a beet in the blender 1.5 cups pureed garbanzo beans 1.5 cups roasted sesame tahini 2 tbl toasted sesame oil 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice 1/2 cup water - add in slowly to desired thickness you may not need to use all the water - you decide 1 tbs sumac salt to taste cayenne pepper to taste
Place garbanzo beans, tahini, beets, sesame oil, lemon juice & half the water in a blender. Puree until smooth. Add in more water to consistency desired. In final steps add in sumac, salt & cayenne.
Toast your favorite bread - spread on the beet hummus, top with avocado and sprinkle on black sesame seeds!! YUM!
